No Manches description

1. No manches [no-mahn-ches] (v) literally means “dont stain”, but it is most commonly used as a mexican idiom for stop kidding around; don’t jerk my chain; no way!; whatever, get outta here!, etc. Basically, it’s an exclamation of incredulity. It’s the reaction people get when they see our shirts.

2. Enjoy Cultura [en-joi kool-too-ra] (v) it means to enjoy yourself by having a full and satisfying cultural experience. By expressing "Enjoy cultura" we at no-manches wish that you and others may have a pleasurable experience wearing our urban Latino wear.

3. Coketa [koh-ke-ta] (n) flirt; seductive.

4. Mica [me-ka] (n) temporary citizenship status card; resident alien card; green card. (matricula)

5. Paisa [pahy-saw] (n) 1. refers to a person from a native town, city or country. (Mex)

7. Hecho En Chicago [ech-oh en shi-kaw-goh] (adj) made in Chicago.

8. Gabacho (feminine, Gabacha) [gab-ah-cho] (n) is a rather derogatory word used in Spanish to describe foreigners of different origins. 1. In the United States is used mainly by Mexican Americans (and by extension American Hispanics) as a pejorative name for White Americans. 2. In Mexico it refers to US citizens, especially as a pejorative alternative to the milder [[gringo]]. It became widely used in Mexico during the French occupation as a term to refer to the invading French.

9. Kooley [kool-ay] (n) literal spanglish translation of a particular artificially flavored drink (Kool-Aid®), but may also refer to any artificially flavored drink mix (Tang®, powdered iced tea, etc.). It is also used as a mexican idiom as a profanity towards someone the speaker does not like, or whose behavior is hurtful, self-centered, or particularly abrasive.

10. Escuincle [es-cuin-clay] (n) kid, brat.
The word Xoloitzcuintle (pronounced show-low-eats-queen´-tlee) is derived from the name of the Aztec god Xolotl (twin brother of the god Quetzacoatl), and the Aztec word for dog, itzcuintli.
